vzw accessibility frustration

Just a little vent here. It is frustrating that so many of the phones via vzw that work with mobile speak are already discontinued. The moto q 9m, the moto q black and silver adition, and the palm trio 750; all discontinued! The pantic pn820 is nearly gone as well, and so many people seem not to like that phone. You cannot see it in the store, only order it online and check it out at home.

Since I am new to this mobile speak world; how fast is the list updated? Now it is the moto q9c and the palm 755. The new palm looks great, but not supported.

Think I'll stick with my lg vx8300 for now. I really like this phone and I can wait to get into the txt world.

Thanks for listening y'all, and if you have ideas on how can I can purchase a moto q please post here.

Hi,

The n75, as of yesterday, is not avalable through ATNT. Try Nexttalk.com, which I found a better deal on.

There are LG phones that will allow you to send, and recieve text messages. Don't forget about that. Personally, if all you are looking for is a phone that can text, then, mobilespeak is not an issue really. If you want mobile speak, go with the SMT 5800 or the XV 6800.

I just saw the SMT5800 today, and I really liked it. I saw the Moto Q as well, but I don't like that. The first poster on this thread said it was discontinued, but VZW still sells them in store, so I don't get that.

Yes I called my store here, and they have the q. still. if possible I would like to hear about the 5700.

Ok, which q are you talking about? Because when I asked about the q that mobile speak supports, those models are discontinued. Not on the website anymore. But who knows, the information from vzw sometimes is very inconsistent.

Did either of you look at the pn820? It is a smart phone flip style.

I liked the SMT 5800. It has a phone keypad on the front with a slidable keyboard qwerty style. It is really nice. I would've bought it, but the phone was, at that time, 300 dollars. I did like it though.

I have the motorola Q9c it is fucking awsome I can serf the net, email text add contacts, listen to music, and a fuck load of stuff! Verizon is going to help with mobile speak, all I have to do is go to an eye doctor, and get a statement saying I need the sofware to make the phone accessible. If you get the extneded life battery, you get roughly six hours or more. I love the phone, and mobile speak is supported and works just fine on it. I'm with an extra onwe which I"m thinking of selling. It works fine, I got mine with the on line discount, so with shipping and all it was $130.00
